NORM Denmark combines new technologies with iconic Scandinavian design to make products that focus on high-quality materials. The company is currently running a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund the production of the NORM 1 smartwatch. This smartwatch replaces clunky smart gadgets on the market with a classic design and stylish minimalist aesthetic. Mathias Hovgaard, the founder of NORM, says the company wanted to create a smartwatch that reflects the design and materials found in a classic timepiece. The NORM 1 reflects that sentiment in a watch with all the smart functions, combined with Scandinavian values and design tradition.
The 42mm NORM 1 features screen calls, social media apps, messaging, phone camera control, and data sync to the app with Android 6.0+ or iOS 9.0+. Plus, it has heart rate tracking and integrates complete body monitoring, step, plus calorie tracking, and sleep monitoring. Additionally, NORM 1 comes with an app that allows users total control, including the ability to auto-calibrate watch dials, manage and customize notifications, and customize the OLED display. And the hidden OLED display lights up when activated or receiving notifications. The NORM 1 has a classic 316L stainless steel case, sapphire glass, and a combination rubber and fabric strap.
