For those that live outside of the Pacific Northwest, the name Ninkasi Brewing Company may sound unfamiliar. The Eugene, OR based brewery is a local favorite, having solidified their reputation with flavorful IPAs made from local ingredients, like the Total Domination IPA. They’ve been around for less than a decade, but their loyal following has allowed them to expand their operations geographically and has diversified what they offer on tap. Now distributing to more states outside of the Pacific Northwest, including New York, the small brewery is making a name for itself.
Their newest flavor is the Ninkasi Brewing Noir, a blend of two signature brews of the Pacific Northwest — coffee and beer. Partnering with another Oregon favorite, Stumptown Coffee Roasters, Noir is a smooth coffee milk stout that should satisfy both your cravings for beer and coffee.
