Gaming furniture has spent years announcing itself with racing-seat bolsters and enough RGB to illuminate a basement. IKEA and Xbox take a quieter approach with YXSTABY, a nine-piece collection designed to work in shared rooms after the controller is put away.

The range translates familiar Xbox hardware into useful domestic objects. A tilting stool was developed from the controller’s original thumbstick files, including a textured surface intended to hold its sitter in place. The directional pad becomes a cushion and a stainless-steel tray, while mirrored display boxes present controllers and collectibles from multiple angles.

More practical pieces include a rolling TV stand with rear storage, a side table with enclosed charging space, a monitor riser with accessory holders, and a portable toolbox whose lid doubles as a laptop stand.

Muted white, black, and beige finishes keep the pieces closer to Scandinavian furniture than esports equipment; green appears mainly where pockets and compartments need to be found. That restraint makes YXSTABY a considered extension of a portable gaming ecosystem, especially for homes without a dedicated game room.
The complete YXSTABY collection reaches IKEA stores and online beginning October 1. U.S. pricing has not yet been disclosed, and availability may vary by market.
