Home fragrance rarely controls a room’s lighting. Le Labo’s Concrete Home Diffuser makes the two rise and fall together, turning a scent appliance into an object closer to a small industrial lamp.

The limited edition replaces the brand’s earlier reclaimed-redwood housing with a base cast, polished, and sealed by hand in the United States. Natural color variation and air pockets are treated as part of the design, so each piece differs slightly. Le Labo also expects the concrete to develop a patina rather than remain cosmetically fixed.

Inside, a nebulizer breaks fragrance oil into a fine mist without heat or dilution. A vintage-style Edison bulb responds to the selected diffusion intensity, dimming or brightening as output changes. The result crosses home fragrance with ambient lighting, while keeping the mechanism visible through a glass diffuser bulb.

The set includes the concrete base, SANTAL 26 diffuser oil, diffuser bulb, light bulb, and a waxed-canvas tote. Replacement oil and bulbs will be sold separately. The Concrete Home Diffuser launched in select markets on October 5, with a wider global rollout scheduled for December 1, 2026.
Le Labo has not announced U.S. pricing, so the object’s sculptural appeal is clearer for now than its value proposition.
