Luxury Swiss watchmaker Hublot has once again partnered with the European football governing body, UEFA, to create a unique timepiece – the Classic Fusion Chronograph UEFA Europa League Ceramic. This limited edition watch is the second piece to bear the championship’s colors and has been produced in a run of only 100 units and is priced at $13,600.
The Classic Fusion Chronograph UEFA Europa League Ceramic watch features a black background, symbolizing the sport’s strength and endurance, with silver and orange hands at the 3 o’clock counter representing the trophy’s hues. Driven by the HUB1153 self-winding chronograph movement, this timepiece is mounted on an unalterable, lined rubber strap.
The watch’s 42mm case is made from high-tech ceramic, an ultra-tough, and scratch-proof material, and is presented in a lightweight, unalterable, stain-resistant, and ultra-tough material that is scratch-proof except for the diamond. The partnership between Hublot and UEFA began in 2015, and this partnership was extended to all its international and club competitions for both men’s and women’s football in 2019.
Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe expressed his delight and pride in strengthening the relationship with UEFA through the launch of the Classic Fusion Chronograph UEFA Europa League Ceramic. “Becoming an official UEFA partner in 2015 was a great honor and privilege,” he said. “We predicted then that our partnership would last, and time has proven us right.”
This unique timepiece is a symbol of the technical mastery, passion, excellence, and perseverance that are shared by Hublot and the sport of football. Since its first partnership with the Swiss national team in 2006, the luxury watchmaker has continued to flourish and expand across all levels of the sport.
