FUJIFILM North America has announced its latest installment to the mini Evo line of instant cameras. The instax mini Evo is a hybrid camera blending traditional instant camera form with improved smartphone integration. The small and versatile instax mini Evo camera gives users the opportunity to share, store, and print select images when paired with specialized instax mini instant film. Users can select images to instantly print or share pictures by storing the digital files for later. As with other instax cameras, you can take photos and instantly develop them to Fujifilm’s credit card-sized instax mini film, but it offers a number of features not available on previous models.
The instax mini Evo camera has ten interchangeable lenses with over ten film effects, giving a possible 100 different combinations for full creative potential. Users will enjoy the 3-inch LCD screen to view and select images, allowing for digital editing, sharing, storing, or printing. This new model is the first instax camera with a print lever and lens/film filter dials. That lets users take a picture then choose among 100 combinations of effects (including “Soft Focus,” “Light Leak,” “Monochrome,” and “Retro”) and print the image afterward by pulling the print lever. Fujifilm instax mini Evo is set to hit retail shelves in February 2022.
