Thanks to a dedicated fanbase that will gobble up any retroed version, the Jordan brand enjoys a status in the sneaker game that no other brand has been able to replicate. It’s as if putting the name ‘Jordan’ turns almost everything into gold, although there have been exceptions.
Seemingly not content with the already premium status of their sneakers, Nike is releasing the Air Jordan 4 Retro Ginger, a premium take on the iconic 1989 Tinker Hatfield design, constructed with a luxurious, premium leather in a ginger finish with a classic gum rubber outsole and leather laces. The branding on the shoe has been embossed to match the premium look at feel as well. It’s as if Nike wasn’t too happy with Hender Scheme being the only one with a premium take on the Air Jordan 4 silhouette, producing their own version. The Air Jordan 4 Retro Ginger will drop on October 29 on SNKRS.
