French brand and world leader in high-fidelity solutions for more than 40 years, Focal, recently unveiled the Focal Littora 200 OD Series Loudspeakers, which includes unique outdoor speaker systems. Included in the collection are the OD SAT 5, OD Stone 8, and OD Sub 12. The OD Sat 5 is IP55 certified, while the OD Stone 8 and Sub 12 are IP45 certified, with international standards that guarantee protection against dust and water ingress.
The Focal Littora OD Stone 8 loudspeaker is pebble-shaped and is offered in three finishes: Limestone, Sand, and Basalt. These loudspeakers are textured to resemble rocks, lending a natural effect to their outdoor setting. The OD SAT 5 resembles a ground outdoor lighting fixture but is a discreet and versatile loudspeaker supplied with brackets for in-wall or in-floor installation. Finally, the OD Sub 12, resembling a large mushroom, is a semi-buried subwoofer offering powerful and enveloping bass to systems. Used on their own or together as a complete system, these three models promise harmonious installation and a high-end outdoor sound. Focal offers different finishes for its OD SAT 5 and OD Sub 12 products, available in Dark or Light finishes. The OD SAT 5 runs $679, the OD Stone 8 is $799, while the cost of the OD Sub 12 is $1,999.
