Cadillac has set in motion its plan to go fully electric. At the 2022 CES, Cadillac unveiled the InnerSpace Concept. This concept vehicle is an electric autonomous land yacht. It’s a luxury coupe of the future with interior storage space for pillows and blankets. The Cadillac InnerSpace Concept is styled for comfort. Press photos shot from above resemble a cutting-edge wireless computer mouse with sharp wheels thanks to its low angled rear roofline with no window.
Wrapped around the Cadillac InnerSpace’s wheels are a set of specially developed Goodyear tires. These tires are made from soybean oil and rice husk-based silica as a substitute for petroleum-based oil. In addition, these tires feature SoundComfort technology with SightLine, which makes them smart tires capable of conveying vital information like pressure, load, temperature, and more.
Inside, the Cadillac InnerSpace looks like a state-of-the-art gaming chair with a surround panoramic SMD LED display screen in place of a windshield. The InnerSpace is meant to be a fully autonomous vehicle, so the cabin is designed to carry the driver to their destination. The driver seat is more of a lounge-style seat with deployable footrests. In addition, interior features include “Augmented Reality Engagement, Entertainment, and Wellness Recovery theme.” Other amenities include storage compartments for pillows, blankets, and slippers, as well as illuminated accents. It paints a vision for a luxurious means of transportation.
