Bugatti announced plans to auction a one-off Chiron variant for a charitable cause in early 2023. This bespoke model is called the Bugatti Chiron Profilée and is being hailed as one of the last new W16-powered Bugattis remaining. The auction is organized by RM Sothebys and scheduled for February 2023. The Bugatti Chiron Profilée started its production in 2020 as part of customer demand for a toned-down spec of the Pur Sport. As a result, the car’s rear wing is substituted for a subtle aero piece that offers maximum downforce at speeds over 200 mph.

The Chiron Profilée also features larger air intakes at the front to feed even more air to its multiple radiators. In addition, the front splitter is redesigned to increase downforce at the front axle. The suspension has also been modified with stiffer springs than the Chiron Pur Sport. However, Bugatti states this does not affect the hypercar’s premium ride comfort.

The Bugatti Chiron Profilée exclusivity continues with a one-of-kind paint job featuring Argent Atlantique contrasted with exposed carbon fiber and Bleu Royal Carbon tint for the lower body. In addition, the Le Patron painted wheels with polished aluminum accents are also a one-off design.

Inside, the Chiron Profilée comes with the privilege of being the first Chiron to have a woven leather finish requiring over 2,500 meters of leather strips. This bespoke leather interior wears a Gris Rafale and Deep Blue color in an “air parade” quilting pattern.

Luxurious interior and paint aside, what makes the Bugatti Chiron Profilée unique is its performance. Harnessing the enormous 1,479 hp from its quad-turbocharged 16-cylinder engine, the Chiron Profilée propels forward from zero to 124 mph in 5.5 seconds and onward to a top speed of 236 mph. Moreover, Bugatti tinkered with the car’s transmission to shorten the ratios by 15 percent compared to the Chiron Sport. The chance to own one of the last W16 Bugattis is on February 1, 2023.
