Bottled in early 2019, this is an especially limited release of just 247 cases. With grapes harvested from California’s North Coast, Flying by the Seat of Our Pants was created using four different wines. And with a 12.6% ABV, it is perfectly light and refreshing, both on its own and in your favorite champagne cocktails.
The wine blend is 63% chardonnay, 34% pinot noir, 2% reserve wines, and 1% pinot meunier. The combination lends a full, ripe burst of citrus with a very light berry finish. It offers an almost creamy texture when first sipping on the sparkling wine, but as it warms in your mouth you’ll uncover multiple layers of mango and guava, all coming together with the crisp finish you expect from a brut.
