Audemars Piguet is celebrating 150 years in style, unveiling a Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar that marks the end of an era and the dawn of a new chapter. Connecting past and present, this vintage-inspired timepiece pays a final tribute to Caliber 5135, the historic openworked perpetual calendar movement, for a limited edition of 150 pieces featuring special anniversary design codes.

Crafted from lightweight titanium with a striking polished Bulk Metallic Glass (BMG) bezel, this edition is inspired by the Royal Oak pocket watch ref. 25729. The blue ringed-sapphire dial, vintage signature, and gleaming bezel elevate its aesthetic, while the skeletonized movement provides a mesmerizing view under magnification. Attention to detail is evident in the refined typography, developed exclusively for this edition.

While the retro-styled italic Audemars Piguet logo at six o’clock may feel like an odd choice against the watch’s contemporary build, it doesn’t detract from the overall spectacle. This final iteration of the cal. 5134/5135 isn’t just a timepiece—it’s a piece of horological history.
