New York-based retailer Kith’s founder Ronnie Fieg and Clark’s Originals have partnered up to launch a new footwear category under the Clark’s Originals label called 8th Street. This collaboration is set to debut original silhouettes that have been designed by Fieg and executed by Clark’s Originals’ exceptional craftsmanship and quality. Every model from this new line will be exclusively released at Kith’s shops and website.
The latest addition to the 8th Street collection sees Fieg partner with both adidas and Clarks Originals to create a unique trio of models. The three brands came together to develop an entirely new silhouette in three distinct colorways that bring together each brand’s identity into one. The upper of the shoe is crafted from the classic adidas Samba silhouette, reimagined in Clark’s Originals signature suede, complete with three stripes on both the lateral and medial sides of the shoe.
Furthermore, the shoe features Ronnie Fieg, Clarks, and adidas Originals tri-branding on the tongue with a debossed finish, while the sock liner boasts a tonal leather execution. The design is completed with the iconic Clarks crepe outsole, which is paired with an adidas Samba upper for the first time. Lastly, the shoes feature custom fobs and thoughtful packaging.
To get their hands on the highly anticipated 8th Street Samba, customers can enter the US and EU drawing exclusively on the Kith App. The drawing is open now and will close on March 23rd at 12 PM EST/CET. Retail winners will be notified before the end of the day on March 23rd, and online winners will be selected & charged on Friday 3/24. These shoes will not be available online or in-store on release day.
