The English footwear brand Clarks is much beloved for its classic Wallabee – a comfortable boot with moccasin-style construction and a clean, structural silhouette. The Canadian sport and outdoor wear company Haven is known for ultra-cool premium apparel that can really perform. So when Haven took a stab at a Clarks Wallabee design, it unsurprisingly thought “Gore-Tex.” Based in part on military tactical footwear, the Haven x Clarks Originals Gore-Tex Ballistic Wallabee Boot still retains the essential form of the traditional Wallabee.
In addition to its fully waterproof yet breathable Gore-Tex lining, this boot features a Vibram Moreflex outsole, ballistic nylon side panels, a gusseted tongue, nylon herringbone webbing at the heel, and suede accents on the heel, toe, and collar. This shoe drops in Haven’s Vancouver and Toronto brick-and-mortar locations at 11am on April 27th, and you can find them online two hours later.
