Zero Motorcycles unveiled changes to its all-electric 2024 model year lineup. Its flagship model, the 2024 Zero Motorcycle S, has been redesigned for the new year.
Updates on the 2024 Zero Motorcycle S include a new motor, battery pack, and styling. Its new upgraded battery pack capacity has doubled from 7.2 to 14.4 kWh. Moreover, the electric bike’s new motor increases output from 46 to 68 horsepower and increases from 78 to 97 pound-feet of torque, resulting in a top speed of 104 mph.
Zero provided a claimed range for the 2024 S Line to be 154 miles in the city, 113 miles in mixed-use (city and highway), and 101 miles during highway use. Charging times vary depending on where you charge the motorcycle. Charging using a standard household outlet can take up to nine hours. However, the optional 6-kW rapid charger can have you mobile in under 90 miles with 95 percent battery life.
Another update on the 2024 Zero Motorcycle S is the seat height, which dropped from 31.8 to 31 inches. There’s also room for an extra battery with the optional Power Tank, so long as you don’t mind the considerable amount of weight it tacks on.
