In an attempt to push motorcycle design into the future, the self-described “world leader in electric motorcycles” Zero teamed with Huge – a versatile and forward-thinking product design studio that has produced everything from baby strollers to external hard drives with a focus on consumer ergonomics, intuitive interfacing, and advanced aesthetic style.
The result is a space-age version of Zero’s already revolutionary FXS bike with bodywork by Huge that stresses incredibly sleek lines and minimalist geometry. Performance-wise, the Zero SM Custom x Huge Design SF features a 46-hp electric motor that can reach top speeds of 85 miles per hour. Quiet and clean, it operates entirely on electric energy and can travel up to 100 miles on a single 9.7-hour charge. The bike also syncs with your phone through an app that employs fine-tuned sliders to increase or decrease specific drive mode attributes such as top speed, torque, and braking.
