Based in San Francisco, high-end bag designer WaterField has created a new collection of specialized cases to hold handheld game systems. Crafted to fit the Nintendo Switch, Steam Deck, Analogue Pocket, or Playdate, this USA-manufactured case collection features rugged construction, practical application, and high-quality materials.
The Magnetic Case, priced from $79, is perfectly designed to protect and carry the Nintendo Switch. The case features a magnetic closure using a simple string of powerful magnets around the edge of the case. The magnetic closure is quiet to close and easy to open, using just a simple slip of the finger. The Nintendo Switch case can hold the Switch, along with extra accessories, and comes in leather, canvas, or nylon in various colors.
Similar in style, the Magnetic Case for the Analogue Pocket features magnetic closures and the option for full-grain leather. The leather is made from durable cowhide with tight grain, providing optimal protection and product longevity. The case is designed to protect the Analogue gaming system with a plush interior and has additional internal pockets to carry accessories. The Analogue case starts at $64.
Starting at $84, the Steam Deck Magnetic case can carry the Steam Deck and its charging cord. Like the other WaterField Design Magnetic Gaming Case Collection cases, this case features a padded interior, full-grain leather exterior, and soft magnetic closure. The case is water-resistant and has two interior pockets for optimal cord storage. Charging the Steam Deck while it is in the case is also possible.
The Playdate Magnetic Case, starting at $45, is the last in the collection. This case features a magnetic closure, a water-resistant covering, and room to store the Playdate and charging cord. The case comes in nylon, canvas, or leather, and various colors are available. All of the cases in the collection can be purchased on the WaterField website.
