The Platzhirsch is a German-built electric bicycle crafted in collaboration between Urwahn and Vagabund Moto. This e-bike is designed to be discreet. The Platzhirsch’s battery is integrated into the down tube of its CrMo steel frame, and the 30 lb.-ft of torque capable MAHLE e-bike motion hub motor can be mistaken for a regular bike chain gear. The Urwahn Vagabund “Platzhirsch” E-Bike has an estimated range of 50 miles, making it suitable for daily commutes around town. Vagabund Moto offers an extension pack that adds up to 37 miles to the e-bike’s range.
The premium Urwahn Vagabund E-bike is loaded with features to deliver a safe, comfortable urban riding experience. LED lights are integrated into the front handlebar and behind the seat to illuminate and notify traffic. It features flat-mount hydraulic brakes with a Gates Carbon belt drive to offer low maintenance convenience. The carved Brooks Cambium C15 is designed for all-weather and made from Bar Tape Rubber. The Platzhirsch e-bike includes an integrated Hexlox security theft protection system, mounting points for battery range extender or water bottle, internal cable routing, and integrated mounting points for mudguard and carrying rack.
