Triumph recently unveiled a limited-edition Scrambler 1200 Steve McQueen Edition motorcycle paying homage to the King of Cool. Anyone familiar with Steve McQueen understands the connection between him and motorcycles. The famed actor was known for his performances both on the track and on the big screen. McQueen was a true gearhead who enjoyed racing cars and motorcycles. Some say he enjoyed racing more than acting. This special edition Triumph Scrambler is limited to 1,000 units and is described as the ultimate scrambler bike. The Steven McQueen Edition Triumph Scrambler is a 2021 Scrambler motorcycle with bespoke styling and options.
It uses a 1,200cc liquid-cooled engine producing 89 horsepower and 81 lb.-ft of torque through a six-speed transmission. The frame is tubular steel with aluminum cradles bringing the bike’s dry weight to 456 pounds. The Triumph Scrambler’s rich green gas tank, tan brown saddle, and gold front forks is a paint scheme exclusive to the Steve McQueen edition. Premium Scrambler options are standard. It features Brembo disc brakes and six drive modes: Road, Rain, Sport, Rider Configurable, Off-Road, and Off-Road Pro. Riders can enjoy keyless ignition, single-button cruise control, multi-functional instruments, and under-seat USB charging. To say this is a cool bike is an understatement.
