If someone had said a year ago that there would suddenly be an urgent need to be able to check people’s temperature in a way that required no physical contact, most people would probably have laughed at them. What a difference a year makes. Given our current reality and with this need in mind, HiDi Biotech has developed a portable thermometer phone accessory, dubbed ThermGo that works with all common mobile devices including iPhone, Android phones, and tablets. ThermGo is a user-friendly device, that takes body temperature measurements in a safe, hygienic way without contacting the skin. This portable thermometer comes equipped with highly accurate infrared sensors that are certified with over 2000 tests to ensure reliable accuracy of ±0.1°C. This method saves time and eliminates the need to sanitize between uses. With its ultra-compact and lightweight design, the ThermGo effortlessly fits in your pocket for portability.
ThermGo comes equipped with a USB-C connector and has Lightning and microUSB adapters to maximize its compatibility. It draws power directly from the connected device being used to provide an accurate temperature reading in a matter of seconds. ThermGo’s companion app delivers multi-user support so that one can measure and track all family members’ temperatures. In addition, the unit also measures indoor temperatures and the temperature of any surface. ThermGo is a crowd-funded project on Kickstarter and HiDi anticipates shipping the units in February.
