The Technics SU-R1000 Integrated Amplifier adds a tech-packed digital amp to its Reference Class of products. This is a high-end audio piece that brings a digital solution to a traditionally analog technology. The tech builds upon the advances introduced with Technics’ SE-R1 stereo amplifier released in 2014, featuring Load Adaptive Phase Calibration(LAPC) and JENO(Jitter Elimination and Noise-Shaping Optimization). This new product includes ADCT(Active Distortion Cancelling Technology), which improves sound quality by eliminating distortion from the power stage.
Technics also adds major power supply improvements, including four independent power supply units, a new switching system (the Advanced Speed Silent Power Supply), and devices using low-resistance gallium nitride. For analog fans, all is not lost with the inclusion of the SU-R1000’s Intelligent Phono EQ equalizer. To further reduce power-supply noise, the clock is battery-driven. The new amp comes with multiple input and output terminals, including two USB-B inputs and a Phono XLR input for vinyl records.
