Super Mario Odyssey

The world’s most famous plumber is back in a new sandbox-style game for the new Nintendo Switch.

The new Nintendo Switch brings the world’s most famous plumber back to gamers, this time in a 3D sandbox-style game. The Super Mario Odyssey has the same premise as most Mario games, where the ex-plumber has given up on his duties as a plumber to completely invest himself on a crazed pursuit to save his Princess.

The sandbox-style approach to the game is the first of its kind that features the plumber in red since Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine, a welcomed departure for those that are more accustomed to only seeing Mario run left or right. A new feature in Super Mario Odyssey is that Mario will be able to make use of his hat, something that seemed to be glued to his head in previous games no matter how vigorous his activities were. Unfortunately for those eager to play the game when the Nintendo Switch drops this March, the game is anticipated to hit stores towards the holiday season of 2017.
