Stone Island has just dropped its new Heritage Camo Collection, updating its archival camo print for the Fall/Winter 2022 season. The new collection includes a series of down jackets crafted from ripstop nylon. The jackets are made of a slight slub weave ripstop, composed of mechanically spun nylon fibers. The jackets also boast an internal resin coating and are filled with premium feathers, and sport slanted hand pockets, ribbed cuffs, and the Stone Island badge on the left sleeve.
Additionally, the new Stone Island Heritage Camo Collection includes overalls that boast the same slub weave ripstop construction as the jackets. The new collection also features accessories such as the S.I. Heritage Camp Balaclava in a wool/nylon blend with a jacquard motif, a rounded front hemline, and the Stone Island Compass patch logo sewn on the lower left. Other accessories include the Heritage Camo cap with a ribbed cuff and Stone Island’s S.I. Heritage Camo Ripstop Nylon Watro pocket bag, among other unique items.
Stone Island established itself in 1982 with the design goal of featuring usability and innovation in fiber and textile design. The brand continues experimenting with surprising materials and production techniques to expand clothing industry standards. The company says they want the label to be a status symbol representing a lived experience. The Heritage Camo Collection is available now on Stone Island’s website.
