A camera is often treated as the defining feature of smart glasses, but it is also the part that makes them hardest to wear casually. Ray-Ban Meta Audio takes a narrower approach, removing image capture to focus on open-ear listening, calls, and voice AI. The result is Meta’s lightest and slimmest AI eyewear to date, with up to 12 hours of battery life.

Two silhouettes share the same electronics but present them differently. The Clubmaster retains its retro browline profile in a 51-21 fit, while the Burbank uses a cleaner rectangular frame. The linked Burbank is a 51-19 high-bridge model in matte solid black with dark gray polarized lenses. Across both styles, Ray-Ban offers 23 frame-and-lens combinations, including prescription-compatible choices.

Dual open-ear speakers and a six-microphone array handle music, calls, and Meta AI, with Bluetooth 5.3 providing connectivity. The 43-gram frames add adjustable temple tips and nose pads, overextension hinges, and up to 48 additional hours from the charging case.
Without a camera, the glasses occupy a different niche from earlier smart eyewear and the broader Ray-Ban lineup. Ray-Ban Meta Audio starts at $349, with preorders open now and shipping scheduled for October 13.
