Philips is finally sharing all the tech specs for the Evnia 27M2C5500W Curved Gaming Monitor. The 27-inch VA panel features a 2560 x 1440 resolution and a blazing-fast 240Hz refresh rate. The 1 ms response time means gamers can react to things as close to real-time as possible, and the included AMD FreeSync provides an HDR experience without blurring, ghosting, or screen-tearing.

The 1000R display is designed for pure immersion, offering ultra-wide viewing angles of 178/178°. Gamers getting pwned in Fortnite will have to find something besides the glare to blame it on. Philips’ Quad HD supplies true-to-life visuals while the DisplayHDR 400 support further refines the image, serving up a 3,000:1 contrast ratio and vibrant color even when scenes are shrouded in shadow.

The Philips Evnia 27M2C5500W monitor offers a wide tilt range of -5° to 20° – helpful for gamers who prefer to wall-mount their monitor. Connections are plentiful, with two HDMI 2.0 and two DisplayPort 1.4 inputs. The included USB 3.2 Gen1 hub keeps peripherals and phones charged up during extended gaming sessions and helps cut down on desktop cord clutter. For late-night gaming, the LowBlue mode and Flicker-free technology reduce eye strain and fatigue, while MultiView technology lets users keep an eye on a second connected device. The Evnia 27M2C5500W monitor will retail for $530 when it hits store shelves later this month.
