Pharrell and adidas have just announced the very first addition in the new year to the NMD Hu collection that the two have collaborated on since 2015. The new release, NMD Hu ‘Cream’, was introduced strapped to the back of a robotic dog and was handed off in a way that is completely COVID-compliant, reflecting Pharrell’s vision of an optimistic future filled with endless possibilities. Each iteration in the collection comes with an impactful message embroidered onto the forefoot, centered around improving humanity. In the case of the new NMD Hu ‘Cream,’ the message reads “Human Race,” printed boldly in Korean.
The Pharrell NMD Hu ‘Cream’ come dressed in a cream-colored knitted upper with a pleated/ribbed textured finish. The cream base is then topped off with raised black chenille used on the signature inspirational message embroidered on the forefoot. Rounding out the look are light pink accents on the heel tabs and blue hits on the forefoot plugs, as well as a clear brown cage, black speckled trail laces, and a rubber outsole round out the main features of the shoe. The Pharrell x adidas NMD Hu ‘Cream’ will be available starting February 5th and only 250 pairs will be produced.
