Noted Chamonix-based luxury eyewear brand, Pascal Mathieu, has partnered with the storied Hôtel to produce the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc Collection. Inspired by the “dreamy blue color of the Mediterranean” found along the Côte d’Azur, Pascal Mathieu has created four different exclusive sunglass designs for this collection, each with sky blue lenses.
Crafted from brushed steel and aluminum, the four styles feature curved temples and adjustable nose pads for a comfortable, sporty fit. There is a style suited to virtually every taste. From the Ronde and the Papillion to the Aviateur and Big Boss, all models are handcrafted in Pascal Mathieu’s family-owned workshop in La Chaux-du-Dombief, France, a village in the heart of the country’s historic eyewear and watchmaking region. The collection provides complete protection against UVA and UVB sun rays and the sunglasses are made with seven layers of anti-reflective coating. Only 100 examples will be made of each style of the Pascal Mathieu x Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc Collection.
