Monta debuts a snazzy luxury sports watch in the form of its Monta Noble Collection, as wonderfully comfortable as it is confidently eye-catching. The light, easy-wearing Noble features a self-winding Swiss-made Monta Caliber M-22 movement with a 42-hour power reserve. The timepiece comes in two models: one with a blue dégradé face boasting an attractive sunburst gradation and the other with a clean opaline silver dial. Both look pretty darn good against the stainless steel case and the glinting bracelet, which Monta modestly advertises as the most comfortable watch bracelet on the planet. With the fully articulated, beveled links, and a quick-adjust clasp ensuring a snug and easy fit, we reckon the watchmaker’s got at least some ground to stand on with that claim, which could probably start a few bar fights at horologist-frequented watering holes.
The dignified spareness of the Monta Noble face includes a multidimensional rehaut or flange, bold indices, and lumed hands, with a date window at the 6 o’clock position. Throw in 150 meters of water resistance, and you’ve got a great-looking, easy-wearing everyday luxury watch up for both work and play.
