Marshall has unveiled the new, hand-sized Marshall Willen portable speaker. This little powerhouse features one two-inch full-range driver with a 100-20,000 Hz frequency range and two passive radiators. The Willen boasts the iconic rugged Marshall design, an IP67 dust and water-resistance rating, and a mounting strap that makes this portable speaker road-ready. The strap also makes this multi-purpose speaker flexible to stand up, lay down, strap to an object, or hang. What’s more, there is a built-in microphone with a front-mounted control knob for hands-free chat. If that’s not enough, the Willen also delivers the company’s commitment to a more sustainable approach.
This speaker is PVC-free. Marshall says that 60% of the plastic comes from post-consumer recycled electronics. The speaker is easy to pair with various devices, and there are three equalizer presets in the app. Users can also choose “stack mode” to add speakers to amplify the sound. Additionally, the Willen boasts a built-in, rechargeable Li-ion battery that provides over 15 hours of listening on a single charge. A quick, 20-minute charge will give users three hours of playtime, but it also takes three hours to charge it to full power. The Marshall Willen speaker comes in black or cream with brass details and the Marshall name emblazoned across the front.
