1960 was a seminal year for Lotus. Just 12 years into its history, the burgeoning British automotive company was stacked up against titans of the racing world like Ferrari, Porsche, and Maserati heading into that year’s Formula One season. Lotus would make waves by winning the first F1 race in its history by taking home the title at the 1960 Monaco Grand Prix. The principality-hosted race has been run since 1929 and still stands as one of the most heralded races in the world —  making up the Triple Crown of Motorsports along with the 24 Hours of Le Mans and Indianapolis 500. Stirling Moss achieved the feat for the company behind the wheel, which is now being celebrated 60 years later.

The Lotus Elise Heritage Editions hearken back to the designs of that era by bringing them to current models. An exterior motorsport livery theme, interior motorsport material color pack, themed center console design, contrasting stitch color livery theme, new livery themed seat trim design, and bespoke build plaque can make any new Lotus a beacon of the company’s illustrious history. These design optimizations enhance the interior and exterior of any model with a racing-inspired aesthetic worthy of a place in that prestigious race all those decades ago.
