In 1927, Americans saw the first electric TV in San Francisco. The number of TVs in American homes reached the thousands within 20 years. By the end of the 1990s, 98 percent of homes in the U.S. had one or more television sets. The TV evolved from a small but bulky box shape to large flatscreens, and now the most advanced version to date, the laser TV.

The Cine 1 is the first laser TV from the legendary German photography brand, Leica. Leica is known for accomplishing major engineering feats, and the Leica Cine 1 laser TV is their latest. It offers a first-class home cinema experience from a small, sleek projection device. The Cine 1 provides vibrant 4K imaging with unrivaled resolution and depth of color.

This state-of-the-art laser projector features an ultra-short throw lens, allowing it to display shows, movies, and other content from a remarkably short distance away from any wall. It can project images as massive as 100 inches in size. The Cine 1’s Dolby Atmos speakers provide surround sound from within the same compact device. The Leica Cine 1 is so new it hasn’t even hit shelves or online stores yet. Consumers can expect to see it in 2023.
