Although only four years old, the Italian automotive center Polo Storico has earned a reputation among owners of classic Lamborghinis as the foremost authority on the physical preservation of the brand’s storied heritage. Polo Storico’s latest project is the restoration of one of only six classic Lamborghini Miuras that were originally painted in Azzurro Mexico Blue.

In addition to its unique color, this vehicle is remarkable in its ownership history. Hot off the production line in 1971, this Miura was delivered to one of the most famous singers of 1960s Italy, Antonio Ciacci. Better known by his stage name Little Tony, Ciacci took position of the vehicle in the Republic of San Marino.

Completely restored with original parts, the Polo Storico Lamborghini Miura P400 S needs no celebrity connection to turn your head. Beware, however, that the current owner, a prominent Italian collector, has no plans to part with this vehicle anytime soon.
