The 2021 Jeep Gladiator is set to go on sale in the third quarter of 2020, featuring the new 3.0-liter EcoDiesel V6 engine. As a result, Jeep has recently introduced a new concept version called the Jeep Gladiator Farout. The most noticeable accessory on the Farout is the customized deployable roof-top tent measuring 16 feet long and over seven feet in height capable of housing up to four people. Jeep claims the tent can be open and retracted in a matter of seconds. The Farout is designed with outdoor adventures in mind.

The Farout’s tent features a fully-functional refrigerator, a stove, storage racks, and built-in seats and table. The custom Gladiator interior is dressed in dark smoke blue leather with orange stitching and plaid flannel seat inserts. On the outside, the Farout rides on a Jeep Performance two-inch lift kit with 37-inch mud-terrain tires, FOX performance shocks, and custom front and rear rock rails. Upfront, the Farout uses a Gladiator Rubicon steel bumper sporting a 12,000-pound winch. The EcoDiesel V6 is rated at 260 horsepower with 442 foot-pounds of torque while averaging 28 mpg highway. The new diesel engine will be available on the Jeep Gladiator Sport, Overland, and Rubicon models.
