When Hermès and Apple first teamed up in 2015 to launch their first Apple Watch, the world stood up and took notice. After all, these were two industry leaders famous for not collaborating with anyone else and here they were working together. Now, Apple and Hermès have joined forces again on a new line of ultra-covetable accessories. Among them is the Hermes Bolduc Leather Case with MagSafe for iPhone 12, 12 Pro. The new Hermès cases for iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro come in the brand’s signature brown hue and are crafted in Barénia calfskin – a full-grain leather that is distinguished by its silky touch and develops a patina over time. The “Bolduc” hot-stamp patterns are inspired by the iconic ribbon that is often seen gracing the Hermès orange packaged boxes.
Hermès says that the case easily snaps on magnetically, much like Apple’s official cases. The Barénia calfskin leather, first used by Hermès to create saddles, has water-resistant qualities and it will also provide robust protection for your iPhone. The case supports Apple’s MagSafe feature for wireless charging, as well. The Hermès Bolduc Leather Case can be pre-ordered now and will be available for sale starting April 28th.
