French audio brand Focal has recently launched a new line of affordable loudspeakers called Theva, which will be showcased at the upcoming Axpona (Audio Expo North America) from April 14th-16th in Chicago. Theva is a collection of six loudspeakers that combine hi-fi sound, design, and accessibility. These loudspeakers are designed to fit seamlessly with any home decor and are available in black, dark wood, and light wood finishes.

The Theva range features Slatefiber technology, an exclusive cone that is known for reproducing a dynamic, rich, and balanced sound, making the range stand apart from others. Additionally, the TNF tweeters produce a smooth and transparent high-frequency sound, providing the listener with an optimal listening experience. Theva pricing ranges from $499 to $1,499 each and are available now. The entry-level Theva loudspeaker lineup starts at $998/pair and includes one bookshelf and three floor standers along with center and surround speakers for home theater.

The Theva range is made in France in Focal’s workshops and is designed to be a complete range for both hi-fi and home theater, combining innovative technology and expertise. Focal’s award-winning Chora loudspeakers have been a favorite affordable loudspeaker range for the past 3 years, and the introduction of the new Theva loudspeakers aims to complement and expand the range. The pricing is aimed at customers looking for a Focal system that won’t break the bank.

The Theva line incorporates a visually pleasing design that blends with any decor. The finish options include Black High Gloss, Dark Wood, or Light Wood, and the metallic rings that surround the drivers add an extra touch of luxury. Theva loudspeakers include a rear port for extended low-frequency bass response, and the floor-standing speakers feature tilted stands for optimum time alignment, creating a soundstage focused more directly on the listener.
