Paying homage to its iconic F-80 Skelton watch, Ferragamo is launching a new timepiece line with eco-friendly luxury and sustainability at the forefront of its design. The limited-edition Ferragamo F-80 Skeleton Watch is designed using less environmentally sensitive materials and has successfully embraced the carbon-neutral production process. One of the most significant environmentally conscious aspects of the timepiece design is its strap, which is made with recycled PET fiber over an FSC-certified cork. The eye-catching timepiece features a 41mm black satin case, enclosing a DP24 Automatic Skeleton movement, which is visible through the case back. There are two versions of the Ferragamo F-80 Skeleton Watch available within the limited release — timepieces in green and blue dial versions. Each color scheme will release 200 examples within that color spectrum. There is also a black version that is a boutique exclusive.
This attention to environmental responsibility is not the first time the Ferragamo brand has taken extra steps to ensure their products are not hurting the environment throughout the production process. In fact, Ferragamo has even received support from the Rete Clima and partnered with them in a fundraising endeavor. Clima Rete is a nonprofit organization that fights climate change by promoting limited carbon-neutral models. This endorsement and partnership showcase the commitment of Ferragamo to do no harm when producing their visually stunning watches.
