Music lovers around the world have heard of or even played a Fender guitar. For more than 70 years, the company has made guitars that blow the roof off concert halls and bring friends together around campfires. The new Fender Highway Series honors the brand’s time-tested craft of manufacturing acoustic guitars and the company’s commitment to game-changing innovation.
The Fender Highway Series includes two models; the Parlor and the Dreadnought. Fender fans are familiar with the two guitar shapes, that are staples in the Fender acoustic lineup. The Highway Series turns these shapes into acoustic-electric guitars with ergonomically contoured bodies and unrivaled Fishman® Fluence® Acoustic analog electronics. The sound quality makes gathering around a campfire sound like a concert venue. Even better, Fender Highway Series guitars will excel in real concert auditoriums too.
Both models are available in Sitka spruce or genuine mahogany, resulting in four guitars total. The Parlor and Dreadnought were built to offer the unplugged resonance of drastically larger guitars while keeping a size that’s comfortable in the lap and weight that’s easy to carry, wherever the highway takes the musician. These two guitars are state-of-the-art acoustic-electrics designed to enhance the playing and listening experiences while keeping the art alive.
Both shapes are equipped with a fully-chambered mahogany body, bolt-on mahogany neck, and Indian rosewood fingerboard accompanying a spruce or mahogany top. They’re as beautiful as they are functional. Fishman® Fluence® Acoustic analog electronics are at the guitar’s soul, creating unrivaled sound clarity, a dynamic range, and ultimate responsiveness.
Fender fans around the world probably aren’t surprised to see the brand unveil a couple more innovative acoustic-electric guitars, but they may be a bit shocked by how comfortable they are to play and how amazing they sound.
