Fender is a brand that has become synonymous with the history of rock. Many musicians get intimately familiar with Fender guitars at one point in their career or another, from Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain to Jimi Hendrix, who became one of rock’s greatest legends with his Stratocaster. From 1987, Fender’s American Standard Series has been their flagship lineup, loved by musicians all over the world for nearly 30 years. But the Fender American Professional Series now takes over as the brand’s flagship lineup, retaining the classic design of the American Standard Series while distinguishing itself with some notable improvements for a new generation of musicians.

In short, the new Fender American Professional Series is a reinterpretation of a classic. It features new pickups, a new “Deep-C” shaped neck profile, bone nut, and narrow-tall frets for easier string bending. The guitars’ fingerboard is available in either maple or rosewood, while three basic colors of Sonic Gray, Mystic Seafoam, and Antique Olive are on offer. You can also find other colors like Olympic White, Black, 3-Color Sunburst, and Sienna Sunburst depending on the model, while Butterscotch Blonde returns for the legendary Telecaster models.
