Faraday Future FF 91

Electric startup Faraday Future is ready to take on the electric vehicle market with their futuristic FF 91.

After introducing their concept at last year’s Consumer Electronics Show (CES), electric startup Faraday Future is back to unveil its first vehicle ever in prototype specification. The FF 91, along with fellow newcomer Lucid Air, hopes to challenge Tesla’s throne as the king of electric vehicles.

The 130 kWh battery powers four electric motors developing a whopping 1,050 hp and 1,328 ft-lb of torque, propelling the vehicle to 60 mph in an insane 2.39 seconds. That’s hypercar performance that’s similar to the likes of the LaFerrari or P1. With a range of 378 miles, which is more than what Tesla currently offers, and a host of sensors including 13 long and short range radars, 10 HD cameras, 12 ultrasonic sensors, and a 3D retractable radar in the hood, the FF 91 is ready to take on the EV market. The first 300 units are slated to be the limited-run FF 91 Alliance Edition, where a portion of the sales proceeds will be donated to an environmental fund. You can reserve your own FF 91 on their website with a refundable $5,000 deposit.
