The company continues to produce V8-based drive-train upgrades by stripping away the underbody frame of the vehicle and adding in brand new enhancements to optimize the performance of the transmission and engine. Now, the all-new ECD Electric Defender with Tesla Powertrain is ushers in an electric powertrain for that same purpose.
Since Tesla uses a 100% electric engine, the Electric Defender’s powertrain is able to harness that eco-friendly core to power ECD’s custom-built Land Rovers. By incorporating a Testa Direct unit, the Electric Defender is able to match the performance of its combustion engine counterparts, also going from 0 to 60 in just 5 seconds flat. The electric powertrain is now available to be the core of bespoke Defenders made to fit the specifications of each buyer. Thanks to its latest innovation, ECD now opens its doors to drivers committed to sustainable electric vehicles.
