The Coors x Huckberry Golden Hour Series puts the spotlight on adventurous-minded individuals and nitty-gritty professions in an all-around celebration of exploration, hard work, and open spaces. This collaboration between the venerable Golden, Colorado-based brewery and the adventure-oriented brand features a three-part series that spotlights some inspiring individual stories, as well as a rich collection of gear in the same spirit. The name of the series, “Golden Hour,” reflects that magical twice-daily time when low, long-angled light sets off the beauty, wildness, and potential of the world in one unforgettable moment.

The first Golden Hour release, “Miserable Fun,” profiles firefighter and photographer Gregg Boydston, who put in six grueling (and soul-nourishing) years on a hotshot crew fighting wildfires in the deepest backcountry—having “miserable fun,” in other words, and coming to document the tough-as-nails lifestyle and essential efforts of wildland firefighters with his camera. That’s grab-life-by-the-you-know-what work, played out in remote, often-stunning country, which needless to say earns you an ice-cold beer or two. The associated Golden Hour products include everything from Huckberry x Coors Banquet trucker jackets and t-shirts to beer-ready koozies, leather coasters, and a rugged, capacious cooler. The coolest part? Ten percent of the sale goes to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation, which supports injured wildland firefighters and their families as well as the families of wildland firefighters killed in the line of duty.
