Citroen Ami One Concept

Citroen celebrates its hundred years of history with a futuristic ridesharing concept car.

On the occasion of its centennial anniversary, the French carmaker is celebrating its long history of “creative avant-garde technologies” by pushing the automotive industry into the future once again. Citroen’s concept car for the 2019 Geneva Motor Show, the public ridesharing vehicle Ami One is an innovative solution to personal mobility in the urban environment.

Incredibly small and lightweight, this entirely electric car measures just 98 inches long and weighs just 937 pounds. Its lithium-ion battery rests flat under its floor and can charge fully in just 2 hours at any public station or Wallbox. Strictly for local driving in your town or city, the Citroen Ami One Concept has a range of 62 miles and tops out at a speed of 28 miles per hour (making it drivable without a license in some countries). The Ami One Concept activates when you dock your smartphone on top of the dashboard.
