Bowers & Wilkins just released the new Px8 007 Edition wireless headphones, uniting two British icons of performance and style. The company says its special edition Px8 007 delivers the same high-performance wireless sound found in its flagship headphones. The sleek Bowers & Wilkins Px8 007 Edition commemorates the 60th Anniversary of the original 007 film in Midnight Blue dyed Nappa leather. Bowers & Wilkins say the color is a nod to the dinner jacket James Bond wore his first time on-screen in Dr. No (1962). Additionally, the headphones boast the iconic 007 logos on top of the earcup. The red power slider adds a discreet detail.
Another notable detail is the screen print in each earcup inspired by the Gun Barrel featured at the intro of classic Bond movies. The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 007 Edition features a music app to stream direct, including a suggested playlist. John Bowers founded the company over 50 years ago to produce the perfect loudspeaker and deliver recorded sound that was faithful to live performance. The brand says its founder’s obsessive pursuit of perfection has shaped everything they create. The Bowers & Wilkins Px8 007 is an example of the company’s ‘Good enough’ simply isn’t good enough attitude. The Px8 007 Edition is available now for $799.
