Headquartered in the high-performance automobile mecca of Modena, Italy, ARES Design was founded by pioneers in the international trade of luxury vehicles and visionaries in the world of award-winning vehicle design. Among its other accomplishments, the ARES team has developed a reputation for updating classic automotive body designs with a range of modern mechanics to create some stunning restomod vehicles.
Take, for example, the ARES Design Corvette Stingray. An amazing feat, the ARES team took the iconic 1964 Stingray and made it even greater by bringing it up to date with modern performance standards.
The ARES Design Corvette Stingray is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 tuned to produce 518 horsepower, sending its power to the 20-inch rear wheels via a five-speed manual transmission.
While restoring the body of an original 1964 Stingray, ARES outfitted the vehicle with an entirely new electrical system, including USB ports and Bluetooth connectivity, a new Alpine 500w multichannel audio system with a custom 8-inch subwoofer, a new chassis with complete Corvette C7 axles, and a new pop-up headlight system.
The result of more than 3500 hours restomod work, the ARES Design Corvette Stingray can be yours starting at €350,000.
