Apple expands their lineup of successful all-in-one computers and gives us a sneak peak of their most powerful Mac ever in the form of the iMac Pro.
Finished in a menacing murdered-out space gray, the new iMac Pro shows off its serious performance potential, yet in a design that is almost identical to the current iMac. But why meddle with great design if there’s nothing wrong with it?
Inside, the new iMac Pro will pack some serious performance, starting with a 8-Core Xeon processor, which can be upgraded to up to 18-cores. Graphics are taken care of with Radeon Vega graphics cards with 16 GB of v-ram, and the iMac Pro can be had with up to 128GB of ECC memory. The iMac Pro will come with 4 Thunderbolt 3 ports, which means that users can hook up up two 5K displays, deriving up to 44 million pixels.
The iMac Pro will start at $4,999, and will be available this December.
