Alberta Distillers has recently released its Cask Strength Rye Whisky, a 100% rye libation with 65.1% ABV.
This Cask Strength Rye Whisky is made with 100% Canadian prairie rye mashed in Rocky Mountain water. Critics describe it as a smoky, mellow rye with notes of vanilla, bitter grapefruit, gingerbread, and dark fruits. Recognized for its excellence, the Alberta Premium Cask Strength was named “World Whisky of the Year” by Jim Murray’s Whisky Bible 2021.
