Japan’s Hender Scheme has been partnering with adidas in the last few years to re-release a number of classic adidas shoes from bygone eras. Now, they’re back at it again with a unique reimagining of the ZX 500.
Faithfully reproducing the lines and contours of this icon of the 1980s, the adidas Originals x Hender Scheme ZX 500 RM comes in monochromatic natural leather, natural leather/black mesh, and natural leather/white mesh color/material combinations. All three versions come with a perforated adidas logo on the upper heel and a Boost midsole for enhanced performance.
Like all adidas and Hender Scheme creations, these shoes are so meticulously designed and soundly constructed that they may as well be on display (no doubt some already are). Each pair comes with a special-edition bag, and select stores will begin carrying these shoes on November 24th.
