It’s springtime, the season of new beginnings and nothing celebrates the occasion better than a brand-new V12-powered Lamborghini. The official replacement for the Aventador is the 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto Translated directly from Spanish, Revuelto means “scrambled” and is said to be inspired by a Spanish fighting bull from the 1880s under the same name. Moreover, while the car keeps its V12 roots, this new Lambo features a plug-in-hybrid drivetrain.
The 2024 Lamborghini Revuelto features a 6.5-liter V12 making 814 horsepower aided by three electric motors for a combined output of 1,001 hp. These electric motors are positioned with two on the front axle and the third motor integrated into the Revuelto’s eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, now mounted behind the engine. Furthermore, the 3.8-kWh battery pack is mounted between the seats. As a result, the Lamborghini Revuelto is a PHEV that sprints from zero to 124 mph in under seven seconds!
The design of the new Revuelto stays true to what we’ve been accustomed to when looking at a Lamborghini. It exudes a wedgie low profile with styling updates like its Y-shaped front headlights and massive air intakes behind the doors. This Lamborghini looks sharp enough to be used as a cutting utensil in the right set of hands.
Inside, Lamborghini states the Revuelto’s cabin has been largely improved over the Aventador – literally. The interior has more head and elbow room and more storage compartments, including cup holders deployed in the front. Three digital screen displays handle the controls in addition to a new drive mode called Citta for EV-only use, which limits performance to 187 hp. Deliveries for the new Lamborghini Revuelto will arrive later this year and Lamborghini says orders are filled for the next two years.
