Kawasaki has unveiled an addition to its Z line of motorcycles with a retro-styled look. The 2022 Kawasaki Z650RS is a middleweight bike styled with the classic cues of the original Z650 motorcycles of the 1970s, designed with a well-balanced mixture of modern and nostalgic. Its press photos show off the motorcycle sporting a familiar shade of Candy Emerald green. The 2022 Z650RS offers enough performance to make it suitable for riders of varying experiences. However, that is not to say that it is slow. The 2022 Kawasaki Z650RS uses a parallel-twin 650cc engine producing 67-hp and 47 lb.-ft of torque.
Kawasaki’s parallel-twin engine is engineered for fuel efficiency, rapid response, and low-mid range performance. It’s an ideal motorcycle for daily city commuting. It is built with a lightweight trellis frame weighing 30 pounds and flat handlebars, creating a smooth, well-handling ride. Styling captures the classic silhouette of a vintage motorcycle, and its wheels are made to look like retro wire-spoke rims. The 2022 Kawasaki Z650RS is available in an array of color schemes, with some adding to the final cost of the bike. Europe will be seeing the new Z650RS in showrooms by November. However, no news as to when the 2022 Kawasaki Z650RS will be arriving in the U.S.
