Say hello to the new Range Rover Evoque. Since the launch of the original Evoque over seven years ago, the baby Range Rover has ushered in a new era of stellar designs from Land Rover. The 2020 Range Rover Evoque ditches the angular motif of the original vehicle with a sleeker silhouette more reminiscent of the Range Rover Velar, while still retaining its overall shape and size.
Powering the 2020 Range Rover Evoque are various gasoline and diesel engines ranging from 148-hp to 296-hp, all mated to ZF’s nine-speed automatic transmission. There’s also a mild-hybrid version of the Evoque that uses a 48-volt electrical architecture.
Inside, the Evoque follows Land Rover’s new design scheme with multiple digital displays, rich materials, and even more technology, including smartphone integration, 4G Wi-Fi connectivity, and Smart Settings that allow the vehicle to gradually learn more about your preferences to ready the cabin just to your liking. New to the 2020 Range Rover Evoque is also the first Ground View technology that can prevent you from curbing your precious alloys.
Pricing in the UK will start at £31,600, while availability and pricing details for the North American market should be revealed at next year’s Chicago Auto Show.
